Sugoi Brewing has spent years quietly building a following across the Bay Area, crafting Asian-inspired beers that draw from Eastern and Western brewing traditions. A vision for their first physical tasting room is coming to life in San Francisco's Mission District -- a place to draw in the community for exceptional beer paired with a carefully curated menu.

The tasting room and restaurant is designed to carry that spirit: mysterious and intriguing from the outside, full of quiet discoveries once you step through the door. The project is a remodel of a former sushi restaurant in the heart of the Mission. Traces of the original space remain, layered beneath a new identity. Warm wood, handmade tile, steel accents, and woven fabric create a deeply tactile environment, while carefully considered mood lighting shifts the space from bright and inviting during the day to intimate and atmospheric by evening. Like a bento box opened for the first time, Sugoi's tasting room will be considered, composed, and full of small delights.
